Revision Replacement surgery
Revision knee replacement surgery is performed when a previously replaced knee joint develops problems such as pain, instability, stiffness, infection, implant loosening, or wear over time.
In this procedure, part or all of the existing knee implant is removed and replaced with new components to restore knee function and reduce pain.
For infected cases,,, surgery is performed in two stages.
Revision surgery is more complex than primary knee replacement and requires careful planning and expertise. The goal is to improve stability, alignment, and mobility of the knee, helping patients return to comfortable daily activities.
